Wedderburn

Wedderburn is located in Central Victoria. We are 225 kilometers from Melbourne and 75 kilometers from Bendigo.

Wedderburn is famous for gold, which was discovered here in 1851. Many people still come to Wedderburn in search of the yellow metal and there is still plenty found today. But it's not just gold that Wedderburn attracts people. Our wonderful bird life and animals are plentiful in the surrounding bush. We have some great walking tracks too that you can use to stroll around the town.

Wedderburn is located on the Calder Highway, the major route between Melbourne and Mildura and Bendigo to Mildura. Consequently, it makes a great stopover place where you can relax in a typical small town friendly atmosphere. There are some great walks around Wedderburn where you can stretch your legs and take in some of our magnificent bushlands.

Do yourself a favour and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life for a while and relax in our great little town.
